“You have failed if you cannot speak and write your dialect” – Actress, Ifemeludike


Nigerian actress, Grace Ifemeludike, has taken to social media and advised Nigerians especially those of Igbo origin, on the need to know how to speak and write their local dialect.

According to her, anyone cannot speak and write their dialect have failed alongside their parents who were supposed to have taught  them.
She wrote, “Dear “my mama say I be igbo” I apologize on behalf of your parents for depriving you the joy of originality. You may not understand they challenges of not having a true identity and not been able to identify with your kind until you go on a mission that requirescommunicating with your village people, devil go really mock you if na political position you dey find especially if it’s in the southeast.
Language is the first tool for socio-political influence and must not be taken for granted… Parents please reduce this too much half baked English you speak at home with your children, introduce a pattern ofcommunication with your indigenous language.
Let them speak English with all they phonetics in school biko… We have a unique cultural heritage that must be preserved and protected by all means…Ps. Igbo language is the sweetest in the whole world 😁❤️”

Nollywood Veteran Actor, Dan Nkoloagu Is Dead


Nigerian Nollywood veteran actor, Dan Nkoloagu who is very popular for his Chief Priest cum Native Doctor movie roles is dead.
The sad news of his demise was announced by his son, Dan Nkoloagu Jnr on Facebook yesterday, January 24.
According to his son who broke the news, the thespian died on Friday, January 22, 2021.
Until his death, Dan Nkoloagu had starred in several Nigerian home made movies and was once a broadcaster.

“It’s an insult to attach ‘Mrs’ to my name, I once slapped someone for that” – Kemi Olunloyo


Self-styled Nigerian Investigative Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has said it is an insult for anyone to write “Mrs” beside her name.
The controversial social media personality made this known in a recent tweet she posted via her verified Twitter page over the weekend.
While emphasizing on how much she’s irritated by people attaching Mrs. to her name, the news personality revealed that she had once slapped someone for that.
In her words, “Did you know that it’s an insult to write ‘Mrs’ beside my name? I once slapped someone in real life who did.
“Some of you women think it’s a trophy title. It’s not”, the controversial investigative journalist wrote on Twitter while schooling her followers.

Popular Nigerian singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade professionally known as Mr. Eazi, has made his girlfriend, Temi Otedola blush after he told her she’s all he’s got.
Both love birds had gone on a date yesterday as evident on Mr. Eazi’s Instagram page, and during their “me and you” moment, the singer told the billionaire’s daughter that even though he has no money, he’s happy he has her.
Temi Otedola who found what Eazi told her very romantic could be heard blushing in the background and later took to her Instagram page to share the lovely moment.
